Adobe announced a new service in Adobe Analytics offering a single common workspace to unify data and insights from all media types. Now championing metaverse and streaming media. This is billed as the true new generation omnichannel analytics product.
Amit Ahuja, senior vice president, Adobe Experience Cloud platform and products at Adobe, says, "Adobe Analytics continues to dominate the industry as the only true omnichannel analytics solution for consumer engagement with its support for Metaverse and streaming media channels.”
Easy data portability: The new service features easy migration of data from different analytics products, while preserving historical GDPR and CCPA compliance.
The success of the metaverse depends on it growing into a revenue-generating channel, according to Nate Smith, product manager at Adobe Analytics. The first step towards that is for businesses to study metaverse consumer behaviour.
Insights from the metaverse. Now at hand.
According to Smith, with Adobe’s analytics for Metaverse, the capabilities for analysing consumer engagement with three-dimensional objects have expanded. Adobe now supports data from Metaverse analytics, voice assistants and streaming media. This can be combined with insights from other channels. To get a comprehensive idea of consumer preferences and build lifetime value.
Our Point of View
Consumer purchasing habits are increasingly moving online. So, brands need to constantly stay connected with several data sources to draw a picture of composite consumer experiences. New data sources are constantly cropping up. Voice activated engagements, connected cars, wearables, streaming media, and now multiple metaverses.
Market leader Adobe Analytics’ latest service is allowing for connecting two such new sources – streaming media and immersive interactions from metaverse.Marketers can build composite customer profiles, preferences and comprehensive analytical reports. Consequently, AI Models or marketing experiments or decisions are likely to align closer to marketing objectives. It also helps brands increase customer retention by knowing the type of content that drives engagement.
Its high-time streaming data is captured. Adobe Analytics has now made it possible. It’s also about time immersive experiences from the metaverses are captured. And Adobe is making it happen.
Its past time to dip-toe test the metaversical waters. Once the profiles and preferences of people visiting the metaverse are analysed, it’s only a question of how long before your brand creates a world with shiny objects to offer. Adopting to the Metaverse is no longer a choice. It’s probably a bigger opportunity than Facebook was ten years ago.
